Blackbuck Deer in Ranibennur, India

This is one of my favourite photos from the visit to the Blackbuck Deer Sanctuary in Ranibennur, India in August 2022.  It's less than a hours drive from my home town in Davangere. 
This was my second visit to the place and we were guided by a forest ranger on a motorbike and we followed him in our own car. We were lucky this time in that we could spot so many herds of this unique deer that is known to be extremely shy and fast. 
This is a very less known sanctuary and a safari to especially watch these deers. I heard there are lots of birds and butterflies in this park too. You obviously need a telephoto lens and a camera with high frames per second (fps). 
It was special this time as I could visit with my father who wanted to visit this for a long time and we indeed were blessed with views of so many deers and wonderful photo opportunity.
