I put the central heating on for forty minutes this morning. I reckon the boiler used around £2 worth of gas which is less than I pay for a cup of coffee.

I have given up on the expensive planters that I bought yesterday as they are unstable and fall over in the gentlest breeze.. It doesn't make sense that the 30 cm high planter has a 33 x 33 cm base and yet the bigger version 50 cm high has only a 28 x 28 cm base.

So a trip down Halifax for some plants and to the Garden Centre for some better designed planters.

A busy evening with emails and on-line shopping  a short walk to the post box in the dark at 9:00 pm and then more emails.
