Wednesday: Channel 7

I had an early pick up this morning to head up to Belize City.  Humberto was supposed to pick me up at 0545 but was late because he’d left his car at the 24 hour petrol station in San Ignacio, without petrol.  24 hour petrol station turned out to be closed this morning so he had to get the bus up…We were on a bit of a tight timeline but with Humberto’s (somewhat scary) agility we made it…..

I was in Belize City to appear on breakfast television.  Don’t get excited, the channel I was on isn’t the most widely watched.  But it was charming - it felt like being in someone’s living room - including going to the bathroom just off the studio where a live broadcast was taking place.
