Keeping the Score
Wonderful day today - the Rower and I joined a group tour of the Adelaide Oval, and it was a great deal of fun.
One for the places we visited was the inside of the heritage listed Score Board. It must be hellishly hot in summer - black on one side (facing west) and tin walls in the other side, and the only air-conditioning is a small window fitted with louvres.
My extras are of the score board exterior (right alongside the modern plasma screen) and the Sir Edwin Smith Stand. Sir Edwin was a Victorian gentleman/philanthropist who is very close to our hearts at OGH.
