Chanced upon these two iconic (to me) buildings in the poorest (I think) borough of London.

To commemorate the blockade in 1936 by Jews, trade unionist, Irish dockers and labourers the Labour party of the march by the "Black Shirts" through this area. Now Tower Hamlets registry office, it was previously St Georges Town Hall.
