Parade

An early morning visit to the dentist (all clear) provided an opportunity to return along the canal. 

The Dockfield Road mute swans were on parade - it’s always good to see a brood safely raised here after some of the nest vandalism issues in the past.

This stretch of the towpath is now open again after being closed for several months for resurfacing. It is now of bicycle path standard rather than the muddy track of old, which will probably suit most users. I expect I’ll prefer it when it’s been weathered in a bit.
