A weed?

I don't think so! Dandelions are beautiful in my opinion. In France when the plant is young (before it starts growing a flower) we eat the leaves in a salad with a vinaigrette. It makes a delicious salad. I have not had a 'salade de pissenlits' since I was a child. Thinking about it brings back memories - like Proust's madeleine!
