Acorns In The Wood

Lots of acorns have dropped to the ground in the woods - and more were dropping as I was setting up my camera for this shot…protective headgear might have been useful. Little patches of the ground were lit up by the sun shining through the tree.

Another focus stack - 25 shots merged!! 100mm macro lens used.

In hindsight I wish I had turned the mucky one over (or at least wiped it clean)…ho hum !

Another day of not doing much - although we did have someone around to survey for a replacement boiler - our 26 year old one (the original one from when the house was built) is probably not the most efficient..hopefully the cost of a new one will be offset by fuel savings!!
