Whisky barrels

Early ferry to Islay and then a wee visit to Ardbeg Distillery.

A Japanese couple had just been married in the Round Church in Bowmore and then arrived at Ardbeg for a wedding lunch. The groom looked resplendent in full highland dress and his bride wore a tartan dress which had been specially made by their bridesmaid. How lovely that they chose to come all that way for their special day.

Walked along a long and beautiful beach and watched some huge waves crashing against the rocks. Perfect!
