Rochester Cathedral
This view is taken from the grounds in front of the castle and was the one I wanted to post a few days ago. I couldn't remember how to 'take out' a car using Photoshop, but managed it today (after a few attempts!) The cloud was like that and not super imposed. There has been a cathedral here since 1604. Both the cathedral and castle are Norman in design. Not shown here in this photo, but in front of the cathedral entrance is a fenced off tree. The American Indian Bean Tree, roughly 100 years old and has been damaged. It still survives. It is also called the Catalpa, varieties of which can grow in gardens.
Today has been sunny and bright, but haven't been to the Lakes as needed to make appointments. Tomorrow could be different though in weather and destination.
