Canal walk

A & I decided to go further a field today and revisit a section of the Leeds and Liverpool canal that we hadn't walked in ages. We joined at Rodley Bridge and walked 3 miles to Dobson Locks rise at Apperley Bridge. There were many photographic opportunities on this beautiful still, blue sky October day. The ripple free canal water threw up gorgeous clear reflections, and varied water life.

No swim for me today but we did walk 6 miles (interesting to read the distance is measured in miles and furlongs) even though our activity tracker isn’t quite keeping up!!
