Fungi and Ivy

I did everything I planned today though not in the order I expected. It felt too cold to go for an early walk so I washed the kitchen floor. I’d been outside to put the household recycling boxes by the roadside and felt the chill. I also decided it made sense to take the bags of garden recycling to the tip before I vacuumed the car.

By afternoon it was sunny and warm. I walked up through Stock Ghyll wood.
