On the worktop again. This is the only worktop she gets onto as she uses a box as a step up. If I ever tidy up the kitchen, the box would go, so maybe that's a reason for leaving it as it is. There's an extra of Alfie too. 

The "highlight" of my day was going to the Eye Pavilion for diabetic retinopathy screening. As before, there was trouble getting my pupils to dilate which is necessary for getting a photo of each retina, so I had two doses of stinging eye drops and even then, the photo wasn't great. It's not my favourite way to spend the day, but I guess I shouldn't grumble. At least it was a lovely day and I walked home afterwards - and got a sinful pain au raisin from M&S.
