Today there is colour

I was going to inflict another patchwork picture on you today.  But as he was cooking dinner, W called through and said "if you want colour, come through now".  And wow, what colour!

I took a couple of photos through the window, then went down into the back yard.  By the time I took this, the colour was already fading and shrinking, but at least there were no reflections from the window.  10 minutes later, the colour was all gone.

So the patchwork will keep till another day.
