Abbeys and Art

Feeling inspired by PetraIpa’s wonderful zentangle blips, which I first saw here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3024390724612263500,
and by the print work of Anna Mateus at the Great North Art Show, (blipped 1st November), this is my first rudimentary attempt, using Procreate, at combining photography and art work. It will take more time if I want to develop any competency, but I’m pleased to have done this today, it’s the first time I’ve gone back to Procreate since my flurry of enthusiasm after visiting  Hockney’s A Year in Normandie at Salt’s Mill back in May. 
I do love these ancient sacred places, the photo was taken at Bolton Abbey on Saturday
