On a roll

We had a lovely walk this morning up at Chanctonbury Ring, a hill fort in West Sussex. We saw some helpers setting up for the Three Forts Marathon (which takes in Devil's Dyke, Chanctonbury Ring and Cissbury Ring, all along the South Downs Way) but we were too early to see the runners come along.

We took a flask of coffee and some pastries and had our elevenses looking out over the countryside in the sunshine. Perfect.

On the way back Rufus had a lovely roll on the hillside and we were laughing and taking photographs. When he stood up he was caked in sheep manure!
