Success

I was able to give Sylvie the gabapentin before her vet visit and she tolerated the vaccinations well. There was a lot of fussing over the clipping of her claws, but the tech was able to manage it. Now that we're home, she's dozing on the bed.  Next time I will give her the dose closer to the time of the appointment; they'd told me two hours, but she was already perking up by the time we headed out.  So 90 minutes next clipping.

Another difficult day with the hearing aids.  Right now I have the dishwasher going and it sounds as if it's right here in my workroom. Apparently I'm also speaking very quietly now, although my voice seems loud to me; Lex had trouble hearing me in the car. There is a lot of adjusting to be done.
