Welcome delight

This Strelizia regina continues to play a strong part in our lives. 


A year ago I showed the roots of the plant being trimmed.
The next day (a year ago today) marked the start of medical drama in my life, still affecting me in so many ways.

And today this flower opened to celebrate the occasion.
