H took the car into the garage for new break discs early this morning. It was done by 10.30.we then went to Redruth to get a few things from Wilko.i popped into the post office the elderly chap in front of me asked the lady if she would put sellotape on the envelope has he had put money inside .then he said he took the grandchildren for icecream when he went to give the assistant cash she said sorry card only .what he said next made me smile the only line he knows is a washing line.i thought there must be many elderly who only use cash.only this week on the news it says people are now drawing cash rather then pay by card because they can budget their money.
