Little bit of comfort

A pair of new slippers to keep my feet warm this winter.
Had a good session at yoga and then went to listen to a concert by the OU orchestra.  My d-i-l plays the violin in it and I always enjoy them.  Their guest trumpet soloist was a young man. Very talented.  I think it was their best performance to date and all free.
As the rain had stopped I went for a walk round one of the local lakes with my friend and her dog.  We thought we got back to our cars quickly and then realised we had taken a short cut whilst talking and had only completed half the usual distance.  Much to the disgust of her dog we sat on a bench in the sunshine and talked instead of going round again.
