A covey...
...of partridges.
Nipped across to the estate agent's first thing with copies of the paperwork requested by the lady who hasn't yet viewed the flat.
Later in the morning a trip into Berwick with MrM. We parked up and then walked along some of the town walls to the solicitor's office, where we handed over the deeds and lease of the flat together with the completed paperwork, and for the second time in two days proved who we are!
We bought take-away fish & chips for lunch with the intention of eating them in the van overlooking the sea. But to our amazement, our usual parking spot with a sea-view was full! So it was lunch with a countryside view instead.
On the way home there were lots of pheasants and even more of these beautiful little birds - red-legged partridges - in the fields and on the roads, and we had to slow down several times to avoid them. There were hundreds in this particular field, all continually on the move as they grazed.
Yoga this evening, hard work but good to be back after two weeks off!
