Busy Day
I'm glad I grabbed this shot of a spider's web early, as the day has been even more manic than usual.
We are selling our current motorhome and it has been advertised in Auto Trader. This morning J took a call from a chap expressing interest and could he come and look. We were expecting a little more time to finish preparations but got on with it, thankfully a friend was visiting and able to help. All done before two chaps turned up of the variety that are clearly after rock bottom price to maximise their profits (guess the nationality). They tried to tell us the van was suffering from damp - it isn't - and expected us to take thousands off the price to compensate. In the end we said 'give us £x or go away'. They went away.
I didn't want to sell to them. I'd like it to go to a good home!
Rest of the day creating a poster for Aylesbury Choral Society and baking a cake for John's Choral workshop day tomorrow. I now need to pack a camera bag for a cc trip to Birmingham in the morning.
TODAY IS THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF HASTINGS in 1066 when we were invaded by land grabbing foreigners with a tenuous claim to the throne. This seems to happen all the time somewhere or other!
