Tired

I slept well until my husband got up in the middle of the night to drive to California. He likes to leave very early to miss the traffic....4:00 am. Groan. I had a terrible time getting back to sleep...so I felt off kilter all day. I don't know how he does it!

A lot of botanical garden work today, followed by a fun game of golf with my two buddies. Then we went to one of my friend's houses for a glass of champagne (her son imports it!) and some nice appetizers and talk. Now I am very sleepy but it's only 5:30! I'll need to perk up to make it to a reasonable bedtime.

A lazy blip of a geranium in my garden. They always seem to love this time of year - the cooler nights seem to appeal to them.
