This morning I intended to pop along to Charlton to buy some new shears to tackle my wild, wild shrubs and bushes that are growing at the speed of lightning, get back and have it all trimmed and looking like Kew Gardens by early afternoon

It took a little longer than expected though, as it's now nearly 5.00 p.m. and the garden is still wild and un-chopped! I walked to Charlton along the river, stopping quite a few times to take photos, I stopped off at the O2 for coffee, wandered around the shops in Charlton and then somehow it was late afternoon!

I suppose I'd better get off here and out there now with the shears and wheelbarrow, as Percy Thrower is probably looking down, shaking his head in disgust at my tangled bushes...(sorry, blip commenting will have to wait!)
