A ghost?

A wood pigeon flew straight into the windowpane - fortunately it flew away seemingly unscathed but it left an imprint of its body and beautiful wings on the glass.

This evening R and I went to the village hall to listen to a lecture on the American Museum at Claverton on the outskirts of Bath.  Fascinating how it all came about and there were slides of some of the  wonderful items and also photographs of  the "American" gardens outside the beautiful Regency house.
