Misty Walk

While our visitors were with us we went out walking every day. After they left us we had three days of relative inactivity so today I was feeling a walk was required. Finding out it could rain a lot tomorrow just added impetus so despite the damp misty weather off I went.  The last few walks I've been carrying hat, gloves, and scarf but not needed them but after a short while the hat and gloves were in place. Autumn slowly evolves towards winter.
I walked down to the big lake and then around it and up the hill on the far side. That's where this picture of our village is taken from, about a kilometer away. Our house is out of sight, hidden behind trees and anyway off to the left of this image. The haziness is just how it was, and a few minutes after this was taken rain started falling.
I was out for a couple of hours before slogging up that hill on the final homeward stretch.
