A “tuna de alumni”

We stopped off for a coffee in the center of Benidorm
this evening

On the adjacent tables, were a dozen or so,
Spanish men…. With guitars and mandolins…
. Enjoying an evening beer.

Spontaneously they started singing and playing….
And the guests at the other tables knew all the words….
And joined in!

My Spanish friend explained this is called
a ‘tuna of alumni’ from their college days.

It’s what I love about Spain….
you go out for a €2 coffee and end up enjoying an impromptu sing song!
The audience loved it!…. As did we!!
