Meeting My Hero

We went to see Ardal O’Hanlon at the Ilkley Literature Festival this evening. It was very interesting to hear him talk about his new novel, Brouhaha (Droog very kindly bought me a copy) and about Ireland. I’ve always liked him in Father Ted, My Hero and Death in Paradise, so it was lovely to meet him in person. He came across as a very genuine and engaging person.
