Sticky toffee pudding
This is definitely the last of the birthday treats and just happens to be my favourite dessert!
It was the final course of a very fine lunch I was treated to by friend Alison in The Winnock Hotel in Drymen. The first course was a game terrine served with oatcakes, chutney and a salad garnish; for the main we both chose roast lamb with all the trimmings. It was all scrumptious!
I had to lie down on the sofa when I got home.
The diet starts tomorrow...
