A Family of Swans

Yet another glorious Autumn day and warm enough to go out without a coat. 

We decided to go to Dishley to walk Basil across the playing fields and then down to the river. The foliage is turning gold.

We walked to where the Grand Union Canal merges with the River Soar (extra). Then sat for a while overlooking Dishley Pool. Further along the bank, we could see this year's swan family gliding on the water.
