More Flowers

These are the lovely Dahlias Rose brought us on Friday evening together with a very nice bottle of red .......  the flowers are still here, the wine is not!

Mr HB took advantage of another very nice Autumn day and went to the flying field to put his new model glider through its paces once more,  he's very taken with it.
Meanwhile I've spent more time in the kitchen making:  sweet potato, ginger and coconut soup (kindly shared by lovely Blipper  Damnonii) another apple crumble as we have been given more apples, and a  homemade from scratch prawn curry.  Oh and I was rescued from the ironing earlier when K and Gem called in for a cuppa and catchup.  We were away with them  and C in Yorkshire three weeks ago but they  continued their travels and have only just got back home.

Off now to sample the curry and watch the Strictly results.  Such a terrific show last night from everyone, so it'll be anyone's guess?
