In full summer dress. Lovely visit to Loch Ruthven, one of the few places in Scotland that these beauties breed.

We were also entertained by some Little Grebes, Reed Buntings and Willow Warblers. Even managed to get a bit of a break from the rain too.

In the morning we visited some friends who have a cottage with a phenomenal view of Loch Ness. They had a very large window seat, not surprising really.
