Diversion and distraction...

My brother took dad and I out for a scenic drive this morning, to get us out of the house and away from everything for a short while. Hadn’t banked on the Bath Half Marathon, diversions everywhere.

Really struggling. The end was inevitable, but mum wasn’t meant to suffer, everything was in place for her to pass peacefully. Instead the end was horrific. My poor mum suffered a very traumatic and undignified end, she didn’t deserve that. There was nothing I could do to help or save her. And I can’t get that picture out of my head. And never will...
