Salon de la Revue - Halle des Blancs-Manteaux

Run this morning on île des Cygnes and along the Seine. Then a roulée aux pistaches because it is Sunday, a little work, and a crowded bus to the crowded Salon de la Revue in the 4th arrondissement. 

It was really interesting seeing booths for many many of the scholarly journals I rely on. Also interesting to see the online journals trying to establish a presence, but having much less interesting booths in this context than their paper counterparts! 

The highlight, though, and real reason I went was to hear my colleague Michael Rosenfeld presenting as part of a panel about the reedition of the journal Akademos, the first gay and lesbian journal in France, originally published in 1909. Interesting stuff!
