Shades of Autumn

My market today didn't quite work out and whilst I could have taken a 2nd day at Newhailes, I was a bit fcuked so took the day off.

Went down to Stobo with a friend, via Dawyck Botanical Gardens. She went to the plant sale and I went to my favourite tree, it's come a long way since last weekend but still not fully there. This was taken from inside the canopy.

My body required me to do very little today and I obliged. A day off is a rare thing and after next weekend will be non-existent until Christmas so taking my chance while I can.
