UFO Sunrise

Kevin used his mobile phone to take the sunrise on the 11th October. I used his phone to take today's afternoon shot. Both were taken from the 9th floor of the London hospital he is currently at.

Kevin was taken to London via ambulance on the 6th October due to severe constipation, following several weeks of chronic diarrhoea. On the Monday evening he was moved from the Acute Medical Unit to the Gastroinsteral Services ward, where they have been trying to stabilise his stool consistency. As he was having up to 4 laxatives a day, Kevin was referred for emergency keyhole surgery on his bowels, to give him some quality of life in the time he has left.

Kevin had his colostomy operation on Saturday morning, and is doing well. I had a chat with him on the phone during the afternoon, and he sounded a lot better than he had the day before. I visited him this afternoon, and he is now looking foward to getting back home, and to start going out again.
