The University Girls.. (backblip 1 day)

So Rylee ( 2nd one from the left...front row...white shoes) and her Basketball Teammates from the University of Alberta came over for supper last night. There were several parents and trainers and coaches...needless to say, the house was full...and so much fun.


What a great bunch of young ladies for Rylee to be associated with.  It was easy to see that Rylee is well liked by her team...which is so important at this age...well, I guess at any age..haha


There was lots of food to go around...the shrimp and chicken went fast...as did the Greek Salad..with the pita bread and tzatziki .  But...the dessert of homemade strawberry cheese cake and also apple crisp ...with whipped cream and ice cream...literally vanished:-)


The highlight and the loudest (extra) was when 2 girls beat two coaches in a game of 8 ball...I'm sure the neighbours heard the cheer ...so much fun.


They won today's game handily against the host team...82-41. Rylee got to play another position and proved that she can also handle the point guard position. She usually plays shooting guard..
We are so proud of her....and love her to pieces.  She cried when she had to go on the bus..for the long 12 hour bus ride back to the University in Edmonton.
