First glasses

Katie was super delighted to be able to go to church today. We had a great time making a huge piece of art in her group. She had lots of time playing with her friends before and after (while I cleared from the art!)

We realised we were late for her eye test - she's been getting headaches and sore eyes reading. Except that on the way I realised I had got the time wrong and we were perfectly on time! She found the process quite stressful. It wasn't her first eye test but the optician wasn't especially patient, reassuring or good at telling her what she'd be about to do. Anyway, we survived. There's a couple of things she may want to do down the line but decided we wouldn't add to Katie's stress today. First glasses now picked and ordered! 

She had a bit of time with Lydia, heading to a craft fair to support a friends cake stall. It was then snuggly time for most of the afternoon. We popped out for a walk near sunset to get some milk and she enjoyed a bit of leaf throwing. Bedtime brought some over tired wobbles but she snuggled down in her bed and went to sleep calm
