The Web

Autumn is the time for spotting spider webs, and I just caught a glimpse of this magnificent "bullseye" web on Auntie's Tree as I passed by the door.  The light was just right.  Spider webs are really magical things.  They appear overnight and if the light isn't just right, you can't see them at all.  Delicate but deceptively strong.  A miracle of nature.  More heavy rain tonight so all her work will probably be washed away but she will simply start again, undeterred.
