Long-tailed Duck

I read that long-tailed ducks had returned to the Peedie Sea yesterday so went down and there were nine, but they kept far out. Today, when the rain eventually stopped, I went again and there six there, but other species had turned up too- goldeneye, goosander, pochard joined the mallards already there. I couldn't make out the ring-necked duck, the number of tufted duck was up to 110, so it made it harder to pick out.
