Meet Ulysses...

This beautiful cat is called Ulysses...as I found out today. I was off to take my car to the garage by 8am and then a good roundabout walk back home. It was pretty dull & the sun only came out as I got back around 10am. It's been glorious ever since!

Anyway, Ulysses was out patrolling & definitely keeping a good eye on me. My village is great at giving away free produce & so I picked up a good batch of apples. I've made cinnamon apples in the slow cooker, sweetened with a bit of honey. I'll freeze them and then use for a crumble/pie etc.

So a day at home in which I did a fair bit of school stuff & washing...but didn't manage the garden.

My car was ready around 3pm & so had another lovely walk in the sunshine back to the garage.

Extra is our church yard in the sunshine this morning. I'm never sure whether or not I should post photos of graveyards...anyway, it looked very lovely.
