Grey Heron

The young one met me near the gate today and I spotted the older female watching from the top of a tree. I started feeding the young one and noticed the older female swoop down behind me. The young one took off an headed to the water followed by the older female. I fed them both there. I threw a bit of pollock to the young one who ignored it. I gave her more sardine which she ate. When it was all finished the young one went back and retrieved the Pollock!
The males were their usual selves but I did manage to feed them both. The PM visit was just the two males.
