By the river

So today I went back to work after having last week off with Covid. After work I took the dogs for a walk. First I planned another walk across the fields but when we got there it looked like muck spreading was in progress. Hmmm I thought, maybe try somewhere else so we drove to Charlecote and walked by the river Dene. It was nice to go somewhere different. A breeze was blowing, rustling the leaves gently on the trees. Such a lovely sound. The autumn colours are getting even more spectacular with reds and orange and russet. Still a lot of green leaves that have yet to change colour. Anyway, the dogs had a great time sniffing around with lots of exciting new smells.
