Lots of driving

The cats got sent to the cattery first thing and everything they need went with them. Back home we packed but saw that the Dartford Bridge was closed, not a good sign.

We set off but stopped for some lunch and to work out what to do.  The Dartford Bridge was closed, the Blackwall Tunnel was now also closed, so what to do.  In the end we decided to go the wrong way around the M25.  It took longer than planned but by 5pm we were at our hotel, six hours rather than just over 3 but we were here.

The hotel is lovely, we had a quick walk to see the sunset and then got ready for dinner. And relax....
