Lone Palm

I bought a couple of potted palm trees many years ago, one purchased before I moved into my home nearly 30years ago.  Having outgrown their pots they were planted out; one in the front garden and one in the back.  Both are now15-20ft specimens whose only vice are the leaves they seem to continually drop!

This is the one in the back garden. When my mum's old cat Joey came to visit he used to try to climb it, presumably after the birds, though he never got very far up the trunk and it was funny to see him try.
