Shiny and New!

The new shower has now completed its drying out time and is ready to be christened (Not literally!!! Gah!!) Brian discovered this morning that the extractor fan is no longer working though. So he called the guys and one of them came round and officially pronounced it dead this afternoon. We now need to find a new one the same size and with screw holes in the same place so as not to mess up the brand new shower-wall!

I caused a bit of a problem yesterday though. They had asked me if we were having a new bath panel. I said yes as I'd heard Bri refer to the glass screen next to the shower as the bath panel. Turns out they were not referring to this but the side of the actual bath! They chucked the bath side away and then later realised we did not have a new one of them! They had to get creative with the wall panelling and it has worked out OK in the end. But it might not have done...

I've not been over to my Dad's today as I had to wait for the workman again. I'd told him it may take two days already though so he wasn't expecting me. It gave me a chance to do a bit of cleaning upstairs at least. 

This morning I had a bonus - I found £10.50 in some trousers I wore and put away to wear again as they did not need washing!
