Leaves are falling

Today was a wonderful, balmy autumn day with a blue sky. I saw a tiny blue butterfly in the garden, and a bumble bee, and it felt almost like a summer's day. In our front garden the violets are back in bloom, along with lots of cyclamen, and there are roses galore in both the front and the back gardens. It really lifted my spirits.

This morning I went out to deliver some packs of Christmas cards, and spotted the spire of our church between the houses as I then made my way to the Atrium to check on the stand. The acer is in our back garden outside my husband's study.
