Whitby

Lovely to wake up to views of the Moors today . 
After breakfast we popped into the village at Danby and ended up at the Bakery for coffee where we met a friendly couple from Maske who were having a ‘run out ‘  before tackling the day’s chores . People are so friendly up here and always ready for a chat .
We went on to Runswick Bay and had a walk along the shoreline before our picnic. I’ve been fighting off a cold so didn’t feel too energetic. The sunshine was beautiful. 
Later, after some shopping at ‘Sainsbos’ we popped into Whitby and had dinner at the Magpie Cafe . 
Back to the Cottage for a relaxing evening.
