A cunning plan

In the best Balric tradition, I have what I consider a cunning plan for our septic tank outflow which is sited towards the top of the image.
After much blood and sweat - luckily no tears -  I have cleared the brambles out of an old citerne here and plan to run a pipe from the outflow to the citerne.
It is partly full of soil (almost gravel in my mind) and leaks slowly into the surrounding area. I think it is a good plan - we will see what the officials think when/if they visit.
