Meltdown avoided

I like to think I'm fairly resilient but I was nearing tech meltdown today when I couldn't get my telephoto lens to mount. First my laptop, then my mobile. A third problem in three days was testing my limits. I couldn't understand what the problem was. Everything looked fine. I'd had no issues last time I used the lens but today it was so tight feeling and I didn't want to force it. Revisiting it this evening I discovered my tripod mount was the culprit. Slight adjustment and all is well. The gin is safely back in the cupboard, untouched :-)
